No need to be specific, but you can if you want. You can just give the region and country where you live or post a google maps img, or both, or whatever.

California desert in the USA, bleak.

Erm... What's the "location" line in your profile for then?
I mean, I live in Zagreb, and I really don't see what use would someone have from knowing my exact adress and pinpoint my location on Google Earth apart from wanting to send me a bomb package or something.

Maybe some of us LIKE to get bomb packages in the mail. Did you ever think of that? And besides, that arrow isn't pointing to my house or anything, just to some random spot in the desert near where I live.

Really though, it's just to give people the idea of what you live looks like. For instance, I have absolutely *no* idea what Zagreb looks like, let alone what part of Croatia it's in.

Zagreb

Zagreb. That's the name of the city I live in. Zagreb is the capital of Croatia. Zagreb is located in the continental part of Croatia, fairly close to the border with Slovenia.

Zagreb is a nice city. It's not too large, but not too small either. It's large enough to give other cities in the country penis envy, but small enough to take you some ninety minutes from one side to the other. On bike.

Zagreb is often reffered to as Metropola (Metropolis) by its citizens because it's practically the center of every major activity in the country, apart from agriculture.
The mayor of Zagreb is Milan Bandić. Milan is a cool guy. Once he hit a parked car while driving drunk, but it hasn't impaired his political career much. In fact, after a short hiatus (when he was replaced with a she-man called Vlasta Pavić) he was re-elected for mayor.
That's how cool Milan is.

Our governor, Arnold Schwarzenegger(spelling?), crashed his motorcycle while driving without a license once. :o

Wikipedia said:
While not the same kind of penis envy as that typically referred to in psychoanalysis, the word "penis envy" is also sometimes used to describe the envy of a male over another male's penis. Although this subconscious or conscious envy may solely be based on the idea that a larger penis is universally more satisfying and appealing to a sexual partner, other implications arise from the fact that a large penis has been seen in many cultures as a symbol of high masculinity, dominance and power.
Explains enough, I hope.

Nice town square though.
It's not the main one actually, the main one (the Ban Jelačić square) is some 500 meters to the north (up on this photo), but this one looks much prettier.

ION CANNON READY, SELECT TARGET, ION CANNON CHARGING...

Fallout Ranger my heart leapt in my chest when I saw that picture and read you live in the California desert.

I love nature and think all environments are wonderful. However I highly value any desert due to having grown up in California and visited areas there alot as well as having a fondness for it from Fallout.

Sadly I lived 17 years in the same town in CA and due to all my friends and family being there as well as me hating change I never wanted to leave. For many long and sad reasons I now live in Eastern Pennsylvania however once I have my degree (should be by the end of this year) I will move back and I can't wait.

Sincerely,
The Vault Dweller

The Fallout 1 map ends about 50 miles east of my location, so it's pretty close, yeah.

some pretty cool sights out here too, like the old volcano (not a Mt. Fuji or anything) and the old mines out here.

As a matter of fact, there are also some wierd things out here from when Patton used to train his troops before he went to N. Africa. For instance, a 75mm skysweeper AA gun half buried in sand.

Currently I live here:

Really not a hectic place. When I (rarely) open the window, I can see fields, forrests and some horse paddocks... All's green, nothing Fallouty. :?
