Max Payne 3

Beta tests first ;)

However, seeing that Max Payne was born on the PC, the very thought of not bringing the third part to us is heretical, at best.

Not going to shit a brick until I see screenshots/gameplay vids. Max Payne 2 is one of my all time favourites so, whoever is in charge better not fuck this one up !

He looks like in his late 40's-early 50's..so he might be balding naturally..also the concept art has grey beard...assuming its max.
And you cant see the rest of his head...
I loved Max Payne 2...if the next team working on it makes it console only i will go jihad on their arses.

Oh look, they made him bald and gave him a beard.
How innovative.

Yeah...

( Splinter Cell conviction )

Anyway, game is developped by Rockstar Vancouver ( not Remedy ) and takes place a few years after the events of Max Payne 2, after Max Payne left his job and turned into an alcoholic, cynical moron...How...innovative indeed :?

EDIT : and what has Rockstar Vancouver developped before Max Payne 3 ?

Well Bully, and that's it...Was Bully great ? Not really...Don't get your hopes up :?

By the great golden balls of hercules why, "The Fall Of Max Payne" was good enough, tied up everything really quite well and had a nice ending if you saw the "True" ending, now they're gonna "revive" another good game and fuck it all up.

Hey, now. Bully was pretty damn good. Had an awesome soundtrack too.

Also, am I the only one who misses the constipated face?

No, I loved it.
Also some of the bad guys in the original Max Payne had bizarre visages contorted and consumed by utter FURY, some of them look so unbelievably pissed off at times I thought their heads would explode in pure rage.

I refuse to touch this game. I hate all the American advertising that says "Coming this Fall", "Coming this Winter".

Don't they know there are two hemispheres on this planet, and that aforementioned planet is becoming increasingly globalised?

As per actual game: I don't care. I was satisified with Max Payne 1+2. It ended for me there.

A few years ago I would have been extremely enthusiastic about this, but because of late disappointments of epic proportions, I can't let myself get my hopes up.
If it's as good as the first ones though, please take my back to noir york city.

By the way, did anyone feel like Rorschachs monologues in the watchmen sounded a lot like Max?

Both Rorschach and Max Payne are character homages to noir films, especially Rorschach, considering the way he dresses and his morally ambiguous nature.
