Maxson II

Hah, I just noticed that a terminal in Fallout 3 mentions the Maxson family, including a "Maxson II".

Pretty funny, since "Maxson II" was not his actual name, but simply the name I used in The Vault as the article title about Roger Maxson's son (and John Maxson's father), since there was no canon first name given for him.

Another proof that Bethesda has been using the wiki. :)

Pretty doubtful. And there's no reason why they shouldn't just make up a name for him.

That's interesting, but I'm skeptical. If they used the wiki, the game might have been better informed about its heritage as a whole. :P

Jabs aside, that's a nice find, and does make me wonder what resources they used to study canon during development.

In the strategy guide, they interview quite a few developers from Beth, and they mention the Fallout Bible quite a bit.

I'm sure that they perused the wiki at some point. Haven't we all?

yeah, i used that vault wiki plenty o times during my coarse of trying to find those legendary items in fallout 3.

 That's actually pretty funny.

Wait though... You made up shit in the wiki! How do you know his mother did not name him Stuart?! How could you rape the series like that? :P
