Mechcomander for free

I remember playing Mechwarrior 2 really young on a friends computer. I always loved giant robots. Not that the combat is any more interesting, but that the customizability adds quite some strategy to it.

i cant remember ever playing commander, so i cant say much about the game.

however, i checked the 'about' section a while back, it says this:

But wait, by now you’re thinking to yourself “okay, it sounds interesting, but why bother with such an old game?” The simple answer to that is playability. For the same reasons people like classic console games like Counter Strike, Mech Commander makes you keep coming back for more.
