Wow, they got off light that time. Of course it doesn't do well to videotape a US soldier executing someone helpless on the ground, Chinese Army-style.
This should be the next US Army/Marine recruitment video:
"Join today! Just like GTA in real life, but you don't have any pesky police or "law" thingies to worry about! Here's your uniform and here's your gun, go, go, go!"
That seems to be the mentality the division sergeants seem to be giving these kids over there, or the kind of people they are trying to recruit direct from high schools.

Execpt it is not americans but british, and that there was no confirmed killings. Also because of this movie that wa given to the press by someone inn the army several people have been arested during the last week. Nice seeing the actuall movie and not pictures though.

Even the overviolent Romans knew that's not how you handle occupation of foreign countries. Worst disciplined army EVER.
discipline is useless if the officers (even NCO's) arent educated to deal with the given situation. this particular incident wouldnt have occured if the NCO or officer in charge would've said a single word: "stop".

I find it extremely funny that that clip shows graphic violence, yet they find it necessary to censor out when the guy says "fuck"

I can't take back the part where I'm irate about where rock-throwers have been shot and killed, even when determined to be just a nuisance. A year ago. Which seems to now be standard US policy, even back to when they were shooting kids at US colleges for protesting the last crap war that was using them and their friends. Then there's actual murder findings.
On a more serious note, I was sickened by those who were an enlistment generation younger than me, duringthe Gulf War, treating the enemy and basically any Iraqi who got into their way as a target. Then treated it lightly, as if it were a game. In fact, read about what McVeigh's fellow troops described him as, and the atrocities he did while as a gunner, and this quote is taken from this page.
Yet now the Iraqi people have the "Freedom" to vote, but harassing soldiers, who are occupying your country to the point of causing national civil unrest, is clearly out. That says something else about this generation, too, Kharn. It's perfectly fine to occupy the country and brutalize the inhabitants, but as long as they can vote for one of their own citizens to become a puppet, all is supposed to be good and they are supposed to be happy.
I blame media saturation and "Meme of the Week" for dissolving people's ability to keep track of all the facts together over time.
