I keep reading that Interplay screwed over Micro Forte, but to what extent and how severe is this, in other words what are the details of what Interplay did to Micro Forte?
Evidently Interplay had signed a letter of intent to let Micro-Forté make a addon to FOT and FOT 2, and Micro-Forté started spending money on the new FOT 2 engine. But around the time of FOT going gold, Interplay found out that they didn't have money and didn't want to do FOT 2 (yet). So they pulled the plug, and Micro-Forté had to fire half the squad that made FOT and many had to take a pay cut....that what we've heard..
