Modifying New Vegas meshes.

Ravager

Look, Ma! Two Heads!
Does anyone know how/got some tutorial on modifying armors in New Vegas? I've been working with blender and trying to implement some of the armor parts from the reinforced combat armor MKII to MKI (The part of armor before the wrists), but every time I modify the model I can't import it.

Can someone help?

Oh and btw NifSkope won't do. It's not good enough for that. The model just looks weird after I use it.

Friend, I have used blender to remove parts of armors, but not to mix/match parts from one to another.

Fallout Gamebrio modding isnt really big on NMA yet, so i would suggest the nexus site or the bethesda forums to get your question awnsered. Also, there may be a few tutorials via google search you can try. Good luck!

It was quite a while ago, and I only did it once, to remove a trenchcoat/skirt thingy I diddnt think fit with the armor i downloaded.

And worse, i dont remember if it was NifScope or Blender I used!

I opened the mesh in one of those programs, and a white untextured model appeared on the right. You could click (or right click, i forget) on various "sections" of the model, a menu popped up, and had an option to remove/delete it.

I am almost positive it was Nifscope, i just opened Blender and dont recognize the interface.

Yup NifScope. It can also replace a few model parts if you open 2 of them and then copy/paste certain parts.
