Every thing is so gray in those pics, almost makes me depressed only by looking at them...

Also the "tank busters" at the by the roads
If thats their main strategy they wont make it for long.
Or the electric fence around the beach to prevent people from swimming away. Whole of NK is like one hugh prison :/

The border posts were probably the ones I found most impressive. The roads on the south korean side looking so much more nicer and put together than the north.

So bleak and gray, unsettling and bizarre, but fascinating. The medieval village style among the apartment blocks that look like badly rendered models for a video game are a sight. But I guess that similar situations have cropped up before and may exist elsewhere as well. But not like this. I haven't seen much of developing countries or old Soviet era photos to compare, but the conditions seem unique as far as I know. Very sad.
