Hi Everyone,

With November nearly here it time to remind you all (err well the guys anyway) that November is also the month of the Mo or ‘Movember’. To raise community awareness of Men's Health Issues Men are encouraged to grow a Moustache.
The rules are as follows:
• On day "Mo-1" (October 31), the complete moustache region, including the entire upper lip and the handlebar zones, must be completely shaved.
• For the entire duration of Movember (Movember 1 - 32 inclusive), no hair shall be allowed to grow in the goatee zone - being any facial area below the bottom lip.
• There is to be no joining of the moustache to sideburns.
• Failure to conform to all of these rules may, at the discretion of the official Movember Committee, result in instant blacklisting and may void invitation to the Mo Ball.
• Movember Committee accepts no responsibility for lost jobs, rashes, food/beer encrustments or any other such mishaps caused to the wearer (or his partner) of a Movember Moustache. You grew it yourself.

Must just not be man enough to grow a nice handle bar Moustache ;)

naa it's probabky just a strange New Zealand/Australia thing

Last year I was playing touch rugby against a team where they all had a mo's was quite funny since they were all cops as well (all police should have a nice 70's style mo).

"We WILL throw you out if you don't SHAVE!"

no hair shall be allowed to grow in the goatse zone
:salute:

I would love to do this though but I think I might not be able to. All who decides to should post pictures every week!

of the face area.

We kinda have this in Sweden too. Wouldn't it be better to like, raise money?

It sure is an strange Aussie/NZ thing. Remind me when the 31st of October comes around, and I'll definitely be up for it. Still, a blond mustache looks fucking ridiculous, so I better raise some attention.

now here's a fine selection of mo's if ever there was...

Did you guys knwo that in the original concept stage of FO2 that myron had a Moustache? It was part of the new reno theme....

Anyway this is the sort of mop I'm gonna grow :)

i've had a moustache & goatee for the last 5 years, and i'm not about to shave my goatee for Movember!

There's no way in hell I'm going to waste my Dashing Playboy image in favour of Che Guevara facial accessories.

yea, I'm sure a nice Bert Renoylds will go down just fine on you Wooz.

Besides the power of the Beth-soft marketing guru is compeling you to grow a mo

Yah, facial hair, not my look. Not at all. Pretty much everyone I know near my age either grows a beard/goatee, or has a thin "perv stache" because they're to lazy to shave with regularity.

Odds are I'd end up with little better then a perv stache.

What the hell, why not.
because i'd fail to reach my required quota of facial camouflage and would soon after be first fined and then locked up.

oh well, its D-Day so to speak (or M-day I supose). Time to start growing mo.

Just about all the guys at work were planning on growing a mo, but one went and asked the boss and he sent out some really vague email to all the staff kind of saying that we arent allowed to.

But I read through the staff handbook and all its says is that "facial hair must be trimmed and tidy" doesnt say i cant grow a mo, so its not in my contract so I dont think the boss can stop me to be honest. pisses me off really, but there is at least one other guy who is sticking to his guns so i think I might put up a fight on this one. I dont think that an employeer can legaly stop an employee from doing it. Besides the email was really vague and could be interpreted in a few different ways.

So.... I'm planning on growing my mo anyway, hopefully I still have a job at the end of it :(
