$py from TeamX let us know in the forum that they released a new Fallout 2 util, the Mr. Fixit:<blockquote>"MrFixit" is more an add-on, than a mod, that adds the ability to batch various items by your own hands to the game. To be some more correct, it is not
an add-on - it is a tool, which allow you to think out and add to the game new items to batch and use this idea in Your own mod</blockquote>Get it from TeamX or our Downloads.

I wonder, they are probably best Fallout modders, knowing almost everything on game engine and made just one medium size mod- New Vision.
(I must be crazy to make alone biger mod than they do)

New Vision was just a debut of TeamX, the real probe of their abilities. All other time they have spent and are spending on improving and polishing their knowledge (probably it is the reason why they are the best :wink: ). There are very many interesting small mods and each mod covers another one unique investigated modding feature, like an example to a lesson. People learn those lessons and improve the modding quality in the future.
There are also very big projects that need much time to complete and even more time to remake them according to the latest archievements.
The work is on and that silence you see from TeamX is just a pause before the strike :)

Why dont create a mod with ALL itens (weapons, chemicals, userful itens)??

It would be great to add to Fallout 2 an Iten creator system, with all necessary skills, tools and recipes ingredients.

Someone up to it? :P

Mr.Fixer`s items are read from a text file so you can add as many recipes as you ever want.
Someone up to it?

Not only is this mod 99% compatible with most other mods out there it reads its OWN configuration files dynamically.

About the only requirement for making a 'build anything' mod is some PCX files and a text editor. (and a brain ;) )

Thanks. But actually I wasn`t one of the developers of this version of the mod so I`m not worth congratulating at all.
But if you have something to say - go here. You can find all the Mr.Fixit`s developers there.

P.S. Sorry for the incorrect link. Now it really references to the english part of the discussion.

Mr.Fixit updated to version 1.1!
Here`s the readme extraction:

New (1.1) version of "MrFixit" add-on can be found in our downloads section.
Short list of changes:
- new interface graphics (thanks to $py aka Spy)
- some new algorithms (only coding, not usage)
- full command.h compatibility with the Fallout2 v1.02d sources by Haen
 
Did someone got a mirror for the 1.1 Version ?

The site of the TeamX seems to be only in russian now..

And i can't find the link for 1.1 english version

There the mod is avalaibe, just select the link "начать скачивание файла" who link to "http://www.fallout-archives.com/files/fixit11eng.tgz" thats the mod.

Btw, tgz is an archive format, dont be afraid of it, dunno why it as been used since its not common at all for publics uses (as it, the mod isnt larger neither, point who might have explained it).
 
Ummmm i can't find any downloads that work. On this forum they are all in Russian (i can't read russian) or have a 404 error; EVEN THE ONE HERE ON NMA what's up with that
 
Try posting this somewhere else that isn't a 5 year old gravedig.
