Music that fits fallout

Has anyone here ever been listening to a song and thought that it would fit well into the soundtrack of a fallout game? I was listening to “Lacrimosa” by Melvins and thought it could work as a theme for the Master’s Vault or some equally terrifying locale. Any other songs you’ve heard that you think could work in a fallout game?

Another Melvins song I always thought was fallout-y was Lividity. It sounds like it could fit an area like the Glow, an area that’s creepy and dangerous but oddly calm

In running my Fallout PnP campaign I constructed various playlists with music to fit the setting, so yeah lots of stuff. Dark ambient in particular provides that classic Wasteland feeling.

Aphex Twin Selected Ambient Works Volume II, HBO's Chernobyl series soundtrack, Parhelion's "Midnight Sun" all provide that feeling of scoured earth.

Look up Lustmord's discography. Also Cryo Chamber label. They have all their releases on Bandcamp. You have albums there which are quite literally dealing with post-nuclear apocalypse and what not.

In reality though, majority of dark ambient and industrial music can fit the bill, you just need to go digging and find your own preferences.

Yeah, I had both of those guys on there too. I found some awesome one that threaded a layer of buzzing cicadas into the dark ambient which suited the setting intensely, but I can't remember for the life of me what the album was called, and I've since deleted the Fallout ambient playlist.

There were a couple of users over the years who made their own music inspired by Fallout and what not. I can't remember most of them and I've apparently deleted my bookmarks about it ages ago, but I seem to think that Metzger was one of them. Maybe? IIRC his name is directly taken from Metzger in The Den.
Either way, that's a starting point I guess.
