New & improved Fallout

A Finnish gaming magazine called Pelit-magazine began holding picture manipulation contests a few weeks ago. One was themed "Better games - how to make good into brilliant", and that prompted a couple of Fallout entries. Hope you enjoy!

I've seen the first picture somewhere in the forums, IIRC. Great nevertheless. It would kick ass to be able to travel the whole world in Fallout and have a map like this...

The second looks nothing like Fallout (except, of course, for the stuff taken from Fallout). Plus

Dammit, I though it was a new fan patch/mod. The first pic was well made though.

Both suck ass and don't feel like Fallout at all.

The first one has too many things stuck in one screen and the second one... hmm... Warcraft 3?


How would those things make a better Fallout is beyond me.

The screens could be split into tabbed pages or smth. The idea of travelling all over the world and having detailed maps for each region is what's cool, IMO.

The second sucks, I agree.
