First time out of the vault
Anyone know what to expect? The game is on the same engine as FO3, which ran well nearly maxed on my modest little laptop(1.30GHz Core 2 Duo, 512MB Nvidia G210M, 4GB RAM), so I should expect NV to run just as well on the same machine. But given all the tweaks and the fact that the game is in Obsidian's hands, a studio that, if rumors hold true, has a history of releasing badly optimized games, I'm a little worried about what capacity I'll be able to run this title. I'm certainly no graphics whore , but I still don't relish the idea of having to slide the quality bar below the midpoint on a game that already has mediocre graphics in order to get a playable framerate.
