i know the difference between the usual glowing preview-talk and a commisioned piece, this one has to be commisioned. xbox.ign's taken payoffs before, even got so frisky with a payed review once they revoked it for being too obviously from the publisher's mouth.

guess it's safe to assume that IGN's thoughts about Black Isle being FO:BoS' developer are Interplay's thoughts too, then.

watch out for that goddamn radiation falling from the sky
 
Oh..my..GOD! I don't know what to say..I feel both sorry for them..and I want to kill them.
 
Yeah, after reading it myself, I think it should be clear why IGN doesn't have a good reputation amongst gamers. I always take their reviews with a grain of salt- look at some of their reviews for games that were trashed by the mainstream press (Whiplash is a recent example) for a reason why.
