newbie artist wanted

First time out of the vault
looking for an artist who can do some or all of the following:
-make some decent splash screens
-edit weapons, items, scenery etc.
-make a half decent world map
-other stuff maybe

no experience in fallout modding is necessary, we'll provide with the necessary pointers to get started, so this opportunity should be perfect for newbies. there's nothing official or big going on, we're just a couple of guys screwing with the mapper and stuff, so don't expect anything. if you have any questions or anything please post, submit your work for consideration by email and if we think you can make it, we'll contact you (we're kinda sure you'll make it since we're pretty desperate, hope it doesn't show)

What's the point of doing nothing really serious... why not start a project and start small... I mean, why waste your time on something that's not even gonna be something ?

Just asking...

Well, im the current other half of the team, and since pheonix vanished last week under mysterious circumstances ( im guessing alien abduction, but I could be wrong ), I guess ill reply.

We are in fact working on something, but due to the fact that so damn many mods get started, people talk about them, then crash and burn, we decided not to really say much about it, on the off chance that either it takes ages or fails for one reason or another. So at the moment, we do have some basics sorted, we have the main story ready to go, but thats about it, so we need an artist to give us a hand, since especially I have about as much artistic talent as a monkey on E.

So yes there is something we are working on, and it is large, but since we only just started, we arnt really claiming to have started anything, for some further logic ive more or less forgotten on top of the above reasons.

Regardless, we need an artist and ill try and hunt down this reply that was replied in a different post for some reason <scratches head>

+ to be honest, I dont really care if its a newb or vet, any artist who has some talent and a copy of F2 is what we are really looking for, yes confusing, but I figured this post wasnt going to get much of a response without some clarification,
I also agree itd be totally pointless to try and get together a group just to faff around, even a small thing like adding an NPC would be better.
