Well I just heard that Miroslav made some comment about me being immature...hmmm...I'm sorry but that just dosen't fit in with the fact that I founded a website that has crushed all competition and has grown to half the size of his site in a fraction of the time. Do I sense fear? Do I sense loathing? Maybe he can't take the heat. Miroslav is a traffic monger, he's no longer part of the Fallout community, he thinks he is the Fallout community and that is not true. I started Vault13.net for the people because I am one of the people, I just wanted to make some maps but now Greg and I have got something we never dreamed of...we've got the spotlight on us and Miroslav can't do a damned thing about it no matter how much he hates it.
We've got something that he dosen't, we've got a connection to the fans instead of a little group of friends on his forum...we cater to anyone who's tired of the regular bullshit, anyone who realizes that at NMA you get fed dirt because Miroslav has let his power get to his head. It's a contagious disease...you get a few hits to your site and you think you're the man. I'm taking the message to the masses, Vault13.net is the Phoenix rising from the ashes of my failure at Brokenpixel.com.

NMA isn't gonna stand in my way, no cocky SOB ever has. I got a dream and it's of making something that Miroslav could never even dream of. I got a dream people.

Miroslav, What a wanker.
vault13.net is sure to crush NMA in the next couple of months. But the important thing to remember JC is to learn from his mistakes. I'm definitly not saying you will become a "gimme more hits" fag like him, but when you declare war you loose site of what you were trying to create in the first place. There is no need to go out all guns blazing to beat Miroslav. He's well on his way to loosing his lead already.

Thats just my little opinion for you,

Damn straight. I'm not gonna go on some holy crusade to bring down NMA because that ain't gonna happen. I'm gonna do my job, I'm gonna do the news, I'm gonna host good sites, I'm gonna post on the Interplay forums and I'm gonna bring fresh content to the fans...I'm gonna give them whatever they want.
I can't crush NMA but I can subject it to the death of a thousand papercuts.

What the hell? Miroslav isn't some dictator feeding us Big Brother B.S.! Jesus Christ! Now this is why JC isn't ever going to get a D or higher in his debate class. He attacks with proper grammar but just can't back anything up with ANY solid examples. Nothing solid. Not even fuzziness, he just insults and most of the time he couldn't find evidence if he wanted.

I wonder how it grew to half the size of NMA in a quicker amount of time. Well, you have all of your equipment lists already laid out for you. Hell you have plenty laid out for you, just copy off the other guy and change a couple words.
 
I've been visiting NMA for about 3 weeks or so, and I do not see anything wrong with this place, I enjoy it here, and trust me, Miroslav is not what I would call "a classic powerridden moderator" I have seen moderators that would make most people cringe. The only problem with this site, is that FO2 is starting to get old, we need fresh material, hopefully Tactics will help this. These guys at Vault 13 really just need to realize, that they have problems, they're most likely a bunch of rejects from here anyway, wouldn't be surprised if B.O.S Steelknight was their leader. Anywho, NMA rocks, Nuff Said.

For starters, I'd like to see this alleged 'comment' that Miroslav supposedly made.

Second, I'd have to agree by the 'pats on the back' and other activities going on, that if JC himself isn't 'immature', then it's the ones that he gives congratulations to for flaming with bigoted comments that are immature.

Third, he's saying he says "I'm not gonna go on some holy crusade to bring down NMA because that ain't gonna happen.", yet by the title of the thread is "WAR!" and many accusations and challenges are laid down in the first post, it sure as hell looks like that. Can I smell hypocrisy and contradiction reeking from that statement?

Though, from that whole thread, in my own conclusions, that JC is immature if he feels he has to go out and start this up. If he had a personal gripe with Miroslav, then he should have taken it to email. From what I have seen, Miroslav has gone out of his way MANY times in the past to help others, and would still do so today (though a silly thing called Real Life interrupts occasionally, funny enough, with him almost living in a war zone), and has not to mine or many other people's knowledge gone out of his way to sink his teeth into the necks of others like JC has.

My advice, forget about it after this. Ignore those "I'm better than you" bullshit games from the adolescents. I've seen this game played by many to try and make themselves look superior, and it's nothing new.

NMA has about 1500 registered on the forums V13 has about a 100. NMA has >1 million hits V13 has about 80000. Every one of his forums put together (not including his hosted sites) doesn't have as many posts as the modding forum never mind the general forum.

See a slight difference there?

However...you have to take into account that his UBB script is linked into the counter. Yes....so that means with every message read or board refresh, his site gets a hit.

Cut his counter down at least by a hundredth (divide by 100), and I think you get the real stats. It counts refreshes, which Miroslav's doesn't do that.

And then let's cut to the meat of the subject. If it wasn't for who he's hosting, even by comparasin to the cut-back DAC, his site isn't the godly shit he tries to make it out to be. Honestly. He doesn't have any in-depth game info there readily available from his front page, just some links, talking about the game, reviews, screenshots, and that's it. His staff is thrice what we have here, if you could call those of us who wander in here occasionally and sort things out 'staff'. For the walkthroughs, he even links to here for that. Oh, and a slew of message boards. WTF? So basically the main gimmick is tactics clans, hosting a few other sites, and talking shit at about Miroslav, which I've seen him do twice now.

And he decides he's going to pull this shit when he's plastered off his ass? PLEASE tell me that's the liquor talking there, because I cannot understand how any rational human being could come up with what he claims.

From what I can see is that Vault13.net is nothing more than a collection of message boards, links, hosted sites, news that can be found at nearly any other fan site that updates regularly, and little else. Oh, perhaps envy and a bit of an attitude that JC can perhaps get popularity by slandering Miroslav.

JC, if you read this, try to remain civil until you can get your site finished. Links don't mean shit, hosted sites don't mean shit, hits don't mean shit unless they are semi-unique hits that actually give an indication of traffic. Basically all I can honestly see from Vault13.net is links, hosted sites, and very little else uncommon to other sites besides a very shitty attitude.

Miroslav's counter has over 1,119,000 hits. Which those are semi-unique (no true unique possible unless you use the highly-lagging cookie method). So that means he has over a million counts from individual IP addys.

Good ol' Jack here 'planned' a 'bumrush' against them, whcih got them all panicky and everything, till the point where they were on their board screaming out challenges. We had planned not to show, just so they'll waste their time. And I even coined the nick for one guy at some point, "HEAVY SHITTER" (orig, HEAVY HITTER, but about the best he could do is shout sexist and bigoted remarks), for obvious reasons due to his profuse oral defecation.

The next day after the schedualed 'bumrush' of their board, the lot of me and a few others (I think Beau was there at that point, and a couple other Mu regulars), just looked at the mass of challenges and saw where they were posting for hours on end almost all through the night. Then we made it known that they won, we guess, and they can claim the victory and start playing with each other because we cannot hope to compare to the 12 or so hours of devoted servitude they gave their 15 year-old bigot leader, Mark Boyko.

So if Vault13.net does feel the need to do a GotMilk, I guess they could. They want to start a war, then it's their own throats they will be slicing first.
 
What else that is sad....

Another sad thing about Vault13 is that, unlike most other gaming sites, Vault13 chooses to be hostile. Look at game-fan sites like ones for Starcraft and Tiberian Sun, they help and share info between each other. In fact, it is that way between most *Fallout* sites too.

Vault13 on the other hand has decided to become possessive, thinking Fallout site ownership is a "turf war." Some news for them: It's a game, not a way of life.

It really is hard to compete with people who can afford to spend (waste) 12 to 15 hours of their life patting themselves on the back. It's like asking for your own autograph.

I truly have to wonder how many hits he would have if he counted Messageboard usage like V13.. probably around 30,000,000... I know for a fact that I link directly to the boards, bypassing the front page every time.

NMA is doing just fine, not the best like in the times when Fallout 2 was released, but again, that was almost 2 years ago and this is a fantastic thing, to keep up with other sites so well!
