Nuclear Key chain

RUN_LIKE_HELL

Still Mildly Glowing
More than just a detector, the NukAlert™ is a patented personal radiation meter and alarm. Small enough to attach to a key chain, the device operates non-stop, 24/7 and will promptly warn you of the presence of unseen, but acutely dangerous levels of radiation.

Used nationwide by federal, state and local first responders, law enforcement and the Dept. of Defense, the device is the ideal solution for increasing individual security and awareness of radiological threats. It will be very reassuring to know, with confidence, when you and your family are out of the worst danger.

And I thought I was paranoid....

Would be fun if you could trigger the alert yourself

"Look guys, my new Nukeometer!"

"Oh, cool"

*PIIIIIP*

"OMG!!!...... DUCK & COVER!"

i've seen those before and at a much much lower price. ofc, you'll never know the quality of such a thing. ;)

Ahahah.

"The difference between life and death after a nuclear attack"

yea lol well if your town has been nuked and persay you did survive that thing would be going of like crazy. wouldnt be much use cause the whole area for a few mils ( i think) would be radiated to extreme measusr wouldnt it?

Nice find. Didn't submarine crews have something like this back in the 50's or 60's?

afaik nuclear powerplant workers and nuclear submarine crews have flat badges they wear. if it shifts color, time to get out of dodge. if it turns black, you're totally screwed.

Heh, not too much use here in Australia, seeing the only nuclear facility is in Sydney, and is a research station, but still quite cool. If a little expensive.

True. On the other hand, you never know where salvaged metal from highly irradiated installations ends up.

Dont have to bother here in Brazil, the only nuclear powerplant here is a shit, it works with 10% of its capacity, and the other 3 are deactivated, mostly we die here by knife, bullets and grenades hehehehe

The funny thing is that I have a keychain that's got a bit of tritium in it so it's radioluminescent and you can find it in the dark...
