Only French Fallout 2 at EB!!

Hey all, trying to get my hands on a copy of Fallout 2, I was pleasantly surprised to find Electronics Boutique in London had loads of copies up for a sale price of 8 quid.

Very disappointed when I arrived home & loaded up the CD to find it was the French version!!!

I took it back this morning & changed it for another copy thinking I had a bad egg, but lo & behold another French version!!

What a pain! The box is in English, the manual is in English the C is in French.

Any ideas where I can get a patch to change hte language....or another shop in London that sells the english language version!!

Although EB is a very important game-shopping place, it's very weird that they could have selling French copies labelling them as being in english.
It's very dissapointing.

Why don't you send a mail complaining about that, maybe they could even give you a free Fallout copy.

Found an english version in another EB store.

I kicked up a stink but with no result. Yet another experience of their typically poor service....but why do I know..I am just one fo their customers

Well, actually, such a patch is possible. But making it means breaking the copyright laws(according to Maxxim)

And a HELL OF A LOT OF WORK!!!

I tried to try to translate Fallout 1 to Spanish 2 years ago and I didn't finished it, and I'm not gonna finish it never!
Nooo... My god... )

And about the ©laws, are you sure? If changing text from Fallout is against the law, chaning its weapons (for example) is too!
