Downing shots and getting drunk in front of small children isn't really classy. I don't know whose kids that were, but that was pretty bad parenting.

Every party with kids I visited has at least a few sober adults. So, yeah. It's not like children are made drunk too or that they see some filthy adult-only stuff (in which case I would agree that it's bad parenting).

Aidan (Faergus' kid) and that other one didn't seem to bother and just laughed at Avellone doing his drunk Avellone stuff and wooing around.
It's also funny how the internet white knights step on the fence because some people said "that girl in the green shirt looks nice!". The girl in question didnt seem to bother and posed infront of camera.

I don't think some of the things going around in the chat was great (but expected considering the internet) but Obsidian's people are probably resistant to that.
Also, I saw waaaaaaay worse things happening going out clubbin'.
Now I must rewatch the stream again to find these scenes.
The best part of the stream was when they opened a portal to hell.

there is nothing wrong with drunk parents and kidz as long the parents are "good" parents to speak so. I certainly have been on a few celebrations and parties and all that where there have been as well kidz around and their parents got sometimes drunk. Of course you have to keep a few limits in mind. But as long the parents dont attack their children and the people just have fun with each other. Where is the problem?

I've gotten drunk with my parents on a few occasions. What of it? You calling me white trash boy!? I'm from Oklahoma, I do whatever I want. I mean, it is a celebration Jeebz,. Should they be sipping on wine quietly while playing Lacrosse, or maybe playing a nice quiet game of Chess so they can entertain all the streaming viewers? If they ran around with beer helmets on, naked, and drinking jello shots off the green shirted ladies tits...then I might cry bad parenting.

At any rate, I like to see a few developers doing this level of interaction with the customer base. Whether they do stupid stuff or not, they get a lot of attention, which is usually a good thing. I'm still reserved about this game since I haven't seen any of the projects through to completion yet. After Wasteland 2 and Shadowrun Returns, this is my third Kickstarter game that I care about. I guess I have a hard time trusting people taking my money.

I need to watch this stream. I did cringe a bit on the small parts I caught, which was basically an unrelenting series of "Project Green Shirt Girl"-esque comments, butt fuck it - I want to see a drunk Avellone.
