First time out of the vault

To all the developers out there who are making these amazing patchsets.. I'm wondering whether or not you are willing to (or already) host the files of your patches in a sourcecode repository (using a version-control system like CVS or Subversion)?
Using one should make it far easier to coordinate efforts between patches (because we can see the differences between the changes much more quickly). No to mention making it easier to see when a problem might have been re-introduced when it's been solved. Does anyone think this would this be a copyright issue?
