It is not certain but still.. A little hope is better than no hope! Been hoping for a new game since i first tried VTMB.

Hope they'll pull off a game on the same level of epicness and perfection of VTMB by Troika. Vampires should not fall into isometric POV, they are great from the 'inside' look.

As long as any new properties going foward are based on Old World of Darkness with the 13 clans pre gehenna stuff cause IMO the post 2000 retcon stuff is meh.

On Thursday, 29 October 2015, Paradox Interactive and CCP announced that Paradox had purchased White Wolf and all of its intellectual properties. Tobias Sjögren will serve as the CEO of the revived company, which will remain a subsidiary of Paradox. Martin Ericsson, formerly a developer on the World of Darkness MMO, will be serving in the "Lead Storyteller" role for the company. Ah okay, so they are merged, but they still get to be a separate company of sorts, like how Obsidian is. Got it.

So, if they make a bloodlines sequel/successor, would it be based on the masquerade editions or the requiem editions?

Considering both video games so far have been based off Masquerade and lots of members from Troika are now at Obsidian, I would assume another game set in the Masquerade edition. It's probably what the programmers would be most familiar with seeing as a lot of them made Bloodlines.
