I'll be quick.
By an incredible stupid error I found myself with a savegame of Fallout 2 in combat mode in San Francisco with no hope to get out of it without killing some important NPC.
And being blacklisted in San Francisco.
My other savegame is 8 level and several quest older so it really piss me off.
So I made some research about how the save.dat file is made and how to modify it.
I found an editor which allowed to modify the HEX but when I go to the function for combat modify the value my savegame just doesn't work.
I compare with the other save and saw that when not in combat mode there's only the offset that say you're not in. But when you're in combat mode, there's several offset more. I think the prob come from here but I don't know how to correct it.
If anyone think he can help, I'll be grateful.
If there's no solution, then I think i'd have to kill myself
