If only I knew how to make a real poll on these forums...Anyway, which one are you going to buy on release? For me, it was determined after hearing a few details about both. I'm going with PS4..I'm curious to see if most others feel the same way.

Aside from NES I've had as a kid, I've never had a console. And I'm not really planning on breaking that tradition.

But, if I were to buy a new console now, I'd totally go with PS4. Xbox seems like pure garbage to me.

Depending on a few more details im going xbox or nothing. Kinect 2 will be very useful for me, but i need to be more secure in knowing that it isnt giving microsoft (and by extension the government) a direct window into my living room.

ps4 seems to be purely for games (not even ones i want to play) and i will not get much use out of it.

If I were to choose between them, PS4 hands down, the lesser of both evils, and it doesn't have HAL 9000 included and forced upon me to work.

Also the PS4 is for games, I always hate how the price on those things get rampped up with stuff I don't need like DVD Players and limited PC like funcionality, I already have a PC, they should just release a "Lite" version of those consoles that is just for playing the games, I am sure they would sell a lot.

I always liked Sony's first party titles more than the MSFT ones, the shitty design philosphy behind the XB1 just sealed the deal.

Honest question, what do you need the Kinect for?

I have owned most of the consoles, but this iteration of the Xbox is crap, and I don't want a Wii U. I will buy a PS4, but not at launch. Too expensive.

Ive just gotten used to saying "xbox, do shit for me" instead of looking around for controllers in the dark or going back to a different room to find it, or getting off the couch. When you walk into the room, its just xbox, play breaking bad, when you leave its just xbox, pause, xbox play, xbox, play fallout new vegas, you get the idea. And while the games completely based on kinect are purely held up by gimmicks and only fun for about a half hour, certain games are much more enjoyable with that component added. Also i spend a lot of my time on skype and the internet, and while im not happy about being forced to use ie, its still more effective than using my tv as a second screen for my laptop. To be honest the motion tracking is kind of a cool idea, but pretty pointless at this stage. I like kinect for the voice commands.

Basically im lazy and kinect caters to that.

Its a rather easy question, I usually lean towards the Xbox, but hot damn this time it was a landslide, Sony dominated and the Xbone looks like utter cowshit.

Not to mention, Infamous second son looks like it will be worth the buy.

Don't really see the point of having PC in there if it's an Xbox or PS4 poll.

I will always prefer PC, but I'm leaning towards eventually getting a PS4 for some console-only games. Also, I'd like some sort of media center, so I'm a bit curious about how well it would handle that. An Xbox One will never ever see the inside of my home. Ever.

To pretend they actually made a gladiator game with it that works and uses it in an innovative way, of course. (Headbutting, sword+shield play, spears & other weapons and such, leveling skills, challenges, but no instead we get RYSE: Quicktime events: The Game)

But I go off on this tangent because I stick with the pc, have little to say about the consoles.
