Question about an early mod

I have been a devout fan of all the Fallout games, and recently bought the Fallout 1/Fallout 2 bundle. When I started playing Fallout 2, I remembered when I owned the game after it first came out and remember downloading a mod which would add all the items in the game to Klamath and erase the people/animals there. I could then remove the mod and still keep all the items i took and complete the game. I know there is a klamath_items mod on this site, but i don't know how to make it work. I wanted to know if the mod i was talking about still existed, or if someone could tell me how to get the other Klamath mod to work. Thanks

You can use FAME or simple put patch000.dat file in main Fallout2 folder.

I think the mod you are talking about is a savegame mod, the files are usually called mapname.sav (in this case the file in question is klamall.sav); the file should be placed in Fallout2/data/SaveGame/Slot#, the Slot number folder corresponds with the save file you are loading; backup any existing versions of the file you are replacing if you wish to remove the mod later.
