Recruitable NPCs

I wanted to ask something about the recruitable NPCs in Fallout 2: I read somewhere that there are some NPCs which I never heard of. Namely Skynet (a robot) and Pariah Dog (a dog). Does anyone know anything about these NPCs?

Thanks! I'm going to get it right away, but I don't see Pariah dog, oh there it is
