Repeated Crashes

Hello,

I have played Fallout: New Vegas for over 200 hours now (yeah, I should find something better to do...) without crashes as too much of a problem; however, as of now, I crash consistently within about one minute of game play. Currently, I am in the Presidential Suite of The Tops, and the only other NPC is Benny.

Additionally, while I have FOMM installed, I run the game through Steam, while my Fallout: New Vegas CD is in my computer. I do not usually run the game through FOMM, because doing so causes significant slowdown.

Also, the crashes only began after I installed the Strip Overhaul mod.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

My only advice would be delete most of those mods, and do a little memory clean up.

Guys I have a major problem with crash at the end of Dead Money. When I try to go back to Mojave wateland the game crashes. I have all patches and no mods. Please help.

Did you equiped any quest item while leaving the Sierra Madre? because they say that having thigns like Mottor Runner's Helmet while starting Dead Money causes crashes.

Yes I do have such things in my inventory (as my character is sesoned courier) but unfortunately those are hardly removable.

I did found certain console comands to remove this helmet and rebreather form inventory and yet the game still crashes. Do you know any other method to fix this mess?

What causes the crash is having quest items equipped, maybe you have a mod that is causing some conflicts with the DLC files?

No I don`t. Well, I guess I`ll ahve to replay this DLC and pray not to have same crash once more...
