Resetting a quest? Boyd/Silus

Is it possible to reset a quest? I seem to be permanently stuck outside of the room with Silus but I am supposed to interrogate him. I have left all my weapons, hell my whole INV in the locker but I'm still locked out. When I talk to Lt. Boyd all she says is we will talk more when this is over. Well, it's not going to be over if I can't get in the room! anyone have any ideas? I don't have any reloads to go back to so I might just be skipping this quest...

Yeah that quest is bugged as all hell.

Can you go into the console (~) and unlock the door? (by typing unlock while targetting it)

No other solutions jump to mind.
