Other than that, he is right. If you are going to become a game designer, you should know every other field. For me personally, being a game designer is kind of being a jack of all trades. Not necessarily super good in everything, but you should at least know what you are dealing with.
 
He raises a handful of good points (some of which reek of Captain Obvious to me), but they get buried under a torrent of arrogant crap he spews.

I'm surprised there's enough space on Earth for seven billion people on top of Garriot and his EGO.
