RIP Ray Bradbury 1920-2012

He wrote one of my least favorite books, one that I don't regret reading. RIP, Ray.

He died seeing the world he feard would come true just on the horizon.

Sad, truly.

I think you have him mixed up with Aldous Huxley.

Also, RIP you old bastard. I love your books.

Venus took his spirit into space!

I thought he died years ago... :look:

Well, he was pretty old.

Hah, BN, he beat you to it!

Pixote, I mean, not Bradbury.

Tag: I think he's referring to Fahrenheit.

Always liked his short story books, (thought Martian Chronicles had a cool PA vibe going for it), but there's a couple chapters from Something Wicked This Way Comes, that have a great dialogue on good/evil that has always been my favorite from him. Classic sci-fi, good prose. Need more like him and less of the pew-pew space opera sci-fi sludge.

Wow. I JUST finished reading Fahrenheit 451 before coming here.

There was a time when I'd have named him my favourite author. I'll tip my umbrella in the general direction of his dead body.
