Render is pretty large, so I post it as a link, rather than as an image.

I'm still combating lighting and texturing, and the renderer itself. Blender Internal can do some really cool stuff, but actually achieving it is a bitch.

I'm also experimenting with postprocessing, and I'm not sure, if I'm satisfied with the results. All your input would be greatly appreciated!
 
Looks impressive. Like the start of the game, but well, from the other side of course.
 
It looks good, but you should do more with texture, namely the floor and the Vault wall.

The ground has an overly bright colour, that cave is basically a hole in the rock/earth, I don't think there should be beach sand in it.

Also, make the Vault wall and door look a bit more "used". Some scratches, maybe rust here and there...you know.


But overall, I like it, especially since you're new to the renderer, or so I get it.
 
Really I think the way the rock and sand is shaped is more unrealistic than the colors or textures. No sand surface should be completely flat, and perhaps you could add some small rocks into it. And the rock wall is too smooth and unnaturally shaped too. Some distortion there could help.
