Got it today.
First things first: installation is 10 Gb huge (less if you don't install hi-res textures, which you should) and takes forever to install.
It looks gorgeous but, of course, there are prices to pay, first of all it won't even start if you don't have a PS 3.0 card and a gig of RAM, second; the performance is poor, especially when compared to Chaos Theory which looked better (with all the bells and whistles off) and ran much smoother.
The story is much grittier and darker but I liked it's presentation in Chaos Theory more.
The new double agent feature (being able to decide between being bad or good) is IMO superficial and not handled very well making it needless and detracting from the gameplay.
Also, the hud has pretty much been removed which I'm not so sure is a good idea, but it may grow on me after playing for a while.
The removal of the (buggy as all hell) coop, however, is a bad choice as it could have been a major selling point (if repaired).
But my biggest beef with this game are the motherfucking loads. Now, Chaos Theory (and many other games running on the Unreal engines) are commendable for having short loads but Double Agent skullfucks all of that by having not only painfully long mission loads but also long load periods when switching between and accessing different menus.
Anyway, I'll play some more and update this thread if necessary .
