Hi all. I am mightily pissed! Today I had fragged up this mission for the 6th time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gah, this time because my APC fell down into the yellow scheisse (I am playing tough guy mode)

My question is, is it possible to cross into the mutie base in the APC? Also, is there a point to do so?

I personnally didn't going to the Mutant base, it is not required by the mission and it is not authorized either by your command. You can't get the APC into the base cause it's all trenched up.
 
There is a XL70E3 Enfield(which sames to be the best 5.56 SMG in the game), locate in a case in the base, just cross the little bridge, go far right. anyway I think is not as good as 7.62 FN FAL, so is useless.

I personaly kill all mutans in the map use snaper rifle and ganade, only use APC to past first three mutans to the right to get the snaper rifle, with it is ok to complet misson. the fight in the camp realy take several reload so I think is not worth for the tugh guy.

yes you can, it's actually much much easier to kill all these mutants while in apc. Just be careful, the entrance to the mutants base is guarded by two very deadly mutants which kept hitting my apc for 100 points!

I'll put a map soon with a screenshot where to cross the green goo with apc
