I don't know if this has been mentioned here before (the "search" function didn't come up with anything), but I just recently found out about it, so...

Click "Start", then "run", then type the following:

telnet towel.blinkenlights.nl

(exactly as it appears).

I'm pretty nerdy too, though. When I was in 7th grade, I wrote a "first person shooter" in QBASIC.

I agree. Amazing stuff. Too bad there's no sound, it does get a bit boring after a while that way.
