so its a TPS comming out in the next like 10 days or so...

supposed to be a sorta "preview" of what SGW will look like. plus they are going to be using this to finish SGW.

heard from a few people in the stress test/open beta* that it is quite fun.

any of you guys have thoughts/opinions?

well if I'm to judge a book by its cover in conjunction with my hopes and dreams for a stargate video game I'd have to say that I'm not impressed... Namely due to the lack of realism this seems to provide.

I had hoped for a video game based on the Stargate universe to be more immersible, to be able to soak in that world and revel in it. It seems that SGW and this just are not going to meet my standards.

Woes me I suppose... At least I have my DHD iPhone app!

well, people that are playing in the stress test/beta do say that it is fun.

now that could just be that it is "new" and its fun. dont know if it will continue to be fun for an extended period of time.

it wont be a steam style FPS in which people can make custom servers and stuff, it does look like all the servers will be hosted by CME. which could pose some problems.

have to see what release looks like.
