Story: You are a shadowrunner in Berlin. Your friend dies and you have to investigate why. Before she died she mentioned something about "Feuerschwinge".

Why is it a classic: It's not.

What can annoy RPG fans: The game is quite linear and there are a lot of pseudo choices instead of real choice and conseqence which probably annoys most RPG-fans.

Well, that was...quick. It might not be a classic such as Fallout or PS:T, but I really liked this game too. The writing was generally great et the campaign was interesting.

I'm quite unfamiliar with Shadowrun, does it matter which game you play first? Would this one be good for a noob or is there a better way of being introduced to the series?

Dragonfall is way better than Shadowrun Returns. Haven't played Hong Kong yet. You could start with any games since you should be able to understand the basics of the lore without problem. I would recommand starting with Returns though. It will let you appreciate the big imporvement that Dragonfall actually is. Just know that both games, especially the first one are linear.
