I don't think he has any plans to post here for the same reason J.E. didn't - ie, he doesn't think anything he could say would get any positive response no matter what, and that he'd just be getting insulted left and right for his trouble. Maybe that would happen, maybe not - Puuk and Briareus were pretty well recieved if I recall - but we definitely aren't going to get him or any other Bethesda devs to post here and talk with us if we start flinging insults right off the bat. I suggest we stick to commenting on and criticizing the info we get rather than the people involved. Remember the cliche, "You get more flies with honey than you do with vinegar".

That´s pure gold, if we want to get ANYTHING from them, we have to try to avoid all the direct cussing and cursing... (You know, this guy is this this guy is that, bethesda is this and that...) I think we stand to gain more from being the civilized part in this one

But yeah, that doesn't change the fact that what this guy did is absolutely stupid, No company can let its employees go around speaking out of their asses like that, it just stains the image of the company to anyone serious.

Some people need to stop jumping to their own assumptions about Fallout fans and learn to read instead of starting the waterworks because we're not going to blindly fellate any developer who decides to name-drop Fallout or decide that they're going to make a "Fallout game". We've seen where that led twice before.

Here's some more clarification if people really need it.

I'm getting really sick (already) of Bethsoft devs (or whoever) when asked what they'd like to say to the Fallout fans giving an answer like "We're very serious about bringing Fallout back to the forefront of RPGs in a major way."

I don't give a flying fucking shit if Fallout is at the forefront of RPGs. I want a good game, not a well marketed one.

It seems like they think the main thing Fallout fans want is for everyone else to love Fallout. I don't give a shit if only two people ever play the game as long as it's great.

I'm tired of getting fobbed off with "we're going to throw money at it" type answers.
