Resident Schizo Poster
I came across a post a while ago on Twitter where someone stated that New Vegas was the best Fallout. To my surprise a majority of the responses where people saying "No! Fallout 2 is the best Fallout!" or "New Vegas is good but Fallout 2 is king!" It warmed my heart to see that the originals were still very much loved and had a chuckle over just how discontented Bethesda is with what Fallout fans want. Anyway, what do you guys consider to be the best Fallout and feel free to tell the rest of us.

New Vegas.

My Problem with 2 is that it has a lot of the same problems with 1, except while 1 was short enough for you not to notice, 2 was long enough where those problems became an issue.

The amount of times I'll savescum because I didn't want to hit another random encounter where it'll take me minutes for my next turn.
I feel like a majority of the problems would be fixed if the game simply let you control your party members in combat.

Fallout 2 has many improvements over 1 and in many cases, has better ROG mechanics than New Vegas.
But overall, New Vegas feels a lot more focused and there's more character choice.

I'll have to give 2 another shot sometime through, as I did really like it the first time.

Fallout 1 is my favorite video game of all time and I'm sure it's among my favorite pieces of art in general
