In all fairness, though, there probably isn't a right gig for him, so he has to take what he can get.
 
He's obviously part of the show. Guitar wielding guys are quite boring.

Also, hell I hate such "posers", even if it's technically good played. If the drummer of my band would start with such shit he'd be looking for a new one soon.
 
there's a band joke .... After a gig vocals take pictures with the over hyped girls, guitarists give autographs and shake people's hands and drummers and bass players load their bus with the equipment they used xD.
 
He's a jackass but he's entertaining as hell for it and at the end of the day, isn't that why you go to a concert? He was the only visually entertaining thing on stage after all.

Hahah, so true Jax, so true. Drummers and bassists (bassists tend to have it worse) have the least interesting material written for them and more often than not get stuck with playing the same simple piece of crap for the entire song.
 
I don't know, rockabilly bassists have some pretty interesting material.
 
I fucking love it. I think all drummers should drum like this guy. It's fucking brilliant. It's like he caresses himself at certain points. That's art, man. This guy has single-handedly transformed the technique of hitting stretched pig bladder with sticks into an artform.

I'd go nuts too if I were a drummer in such a shitty band.

EDIT after watching a couple of their vids I must say I was mistaken. They are awesome :clap:
 
That's one impressive show. Not my type of thing, but very impressive.

If the drummer of your band was actually capable of playing like that, then maybe your band wouldn't suck.

Note: I'm just seizing the opportunity for some friendly one-upmanship; I don't actually know if your band sucks or not. Even though it probably does. :smug:

I just don't want such a hampelmann in the band.
"Cool kids" are trying to move as less as possible on the stage. :smug:
Also, technical "tricks" on the instrument don't determine the quality of the music itself.

It couldn't suck, because we just formed lately.
We can talk about that in 1-2 months again. :D
