Ok, with regards to the car, I have bought the fuel thing (from klamath) and Claudia (which im guessing does sod all) as well as getting the gold rope around the number plate, fury dice ect from the chop shop boys. Has anyone else had any other add-ons for the car?

On another note, is it actually possible to find the "holy handgrenade" in the game, or is it only for cheating b*stards?

On yet another note, why are flame throwers so totally useless against anything with an AC better than 0? In fallout1 it was so much fun incinerating everything with my big guns 200% and flamethrower, but its impossible to finish Fallout2 as a Pyro, as all the Enclave are practically imune to fire due to their spiffy armour!
 
holy hand grenade is only availible with the item editor...


in fallout 1, everything you fought didnt have any resists (well deathclaws and super muties didnt at least) thats why it seemed so easy to kill them with the flamer

in fallout 2, the enemy's where armor =]
 
If you have competed the game i thing you can get grav Plates from the chop shop boys. Conserve your fuel, increase your speed and let you cruise through the wasteland several feet off the ground. added like the Fallout 2 Handbook for something interesting after the game if i recall correctly. As for the HHG, i think it was on of the things that they were going to add but didn't get round to. I've heard talk about the supposed existence of two HHG encounters. The first with the BOS knights who were looking for it and the second, i suppose, where you actually recover it.

i heard you had to not get your car stolen in new reno untill after you completed the game. only then can you get grav plates. but im not sure. when i play i always kill those chop shop boys for stealin my fuckin ride.
 
How do you get the gold rope around the license plate and the fuzzy dices?
You cannot get to the last HHG encounter without cheating. When on the Main Menu, hold 'R' and press options. Don't remember if that's the way to do it, haven't played for a long time. If you do it right, a menu will pop up with all the locations in the game. One of them is the second HHG encounter. When you click it the game will start and you will be a very weak Narg outside a cave with a mutated rat and some BoS knights. I don't think you can talk to the knights. Save the game and exit (this will make the game crash) and use a char editor to make your character a super character or else you will die when fighting the rat. When you killed the rat, exit and you can go back to Arroyo (but you can't finish the temple of trials). You must find some sorts of armour before using a weapon other than spear or knife or else the game will crash. Search the forum if you wan't the better

To get the spiffy dice and gold rope, I think you have to have above STR 7. You basically have to intimidate the Chop Shop boys into giving you what you want. its been a while, but I think that if you have enough charisma and STR you can milk some other stuff out of them too.
