I may be an uninformed non-participating Canadian, but it's not our speech.

I've never heard of the State of the Union Address before - but anything that involves drinking can't be that bad.

A bit off topic but drinking involved, here's a good recipe for party grog.

1L of pure spirit (95%alcohol)
1L of some cheapass champagne-like sparkling white wine
1L apple juice

You mix it up in any container, and stir it well.
Pour a glass for everyone.

I "discovered" it on Saturday, in a party. As far as hard-hitting rotguts go, this one doesn't give you a hangover.
