Three Houses, Three Utilities. Connect them.

It would work if you could 'continue' the lines through the houses. Whoever did this hasn't heard about SimCity.

haha, i actually tried that, since it wasnt possible the conventional way.

Oh man thank you so much for posting this I'll never have to work again! Best bar bet ever! Given that they are clueless in math.

Unpossible.

Wait, people have explained already how it's just a useless math trick involving 3D mathematics?
Right.
So ehm, wut?

alright I am a bit late to this discussion but I found it a bit interesting so here it goes.

People say "you can beat it. by cheating", but why is it really cheating? The game is designed to be beaten (there is an end), and there is only one way to get there, so why would that be a cheat? The game is designed to make you think outside of the box. You have certain tools you normally don't have to use in a game that this game requires. You could say it's a bad design, but it was meant to be exactly this way. This makes the game very possible, and easy, to beat. It is an interesting aspect of game design (imho).

you mean like it's ok to cheat at football just as long as the ref doesn't spot you doing it?

seriously, fuck off. this isn't thinking out of the box. it's a game made to piss people off, and designed to do so (ok, maybe it's about getting people to learn some decent logic skills, but i doubt it's about abusing game mechanics...). if it was thinking out of the box, it'd be stated like that. (like, say, Munchkin or something)

what's next? you're going to say the Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines cave crash was intended, so that fans would learn how to use the ingame console to set parameters and skip to the next level?

Why? The point about thinking outside the box is that you have to think outside the box to even know you have to think outside the box.
Does this make any sense? No? You're not thinking outside the box, then.
