Does anyone knoww how to get the mutated thumb in Fallout2?
I have seen it on screenshot but never gotten it.
I've also seen a screenshot how the chosen kills Frank Horrigan with the thumb. After that I read that it was impossible.
First of all: it's not a thumb. It's a TOE. A mutated toe.
You get it from walking through the toxic waste in the Toxic Caves. You have to walk through it and take some damage (unless you're wearing armor), and then, one day, while travelling or so, you'll get a message that you have an itch and so on until you get a message that you have a sixth toe! You can have it removed somewhere (vault city perhaps) and you can use it on Horrigan (or anyone else for that matter), but it will only do some poison damage if I remember correctly.
