RE: in preoria, is there a way to save the tribals?
Aww you're evil, Silencer, for not caring about the ever-so-peaceful Wachutu people... the first time I played I felt like a mutant pig rat for killing off half their tribe... I'm glad I restarted

There's already a brief description of this strategy below, I'll just get into a couple of details on how exactly I pulled it off.
For the first two turrets, I placed myself and farsight into aggressive mode, and set the default target of their Kalashnikovs to "Eyes". Then I ran them up to a point where they had a 91-95% chance to hit the sensors (lying down) of the turret (and where they had cover from the other turret so they couldn't both fire at me simultaneously). Then I turned on CTB mode and sat back to read a comic book. Sure, you'll waste hundreds of 7.62 ammo if you intend to kill all of the turrets, but this is a very reliable and easy way to kill the turrets. I got fairsight killed a couple of times (this strategy is a big no-no for tough guys

), but usually it's enough to use a few stimpacks if the turrets actually hits ya. The trick is that you gotta have high PE and skills so that you can fire from far away, making it very hard for the turret to hit ya. If you don't aim for the sensors, you'll never get them destroyed... But if you do, you'll get quite a few criticals in. Even though I never got a good enough critical to blind the bastard, I often pulled off 24-damage hits, which was enough. After this it was even easier to kill the second turret. Since there isn't a second turret to back up the next one, this strategy works for destroying it also. After this, there are two ways of continuing. 1) Killing every single turret out there. 2) Following the strategy mentioned above. From the room with the switch, I used my tactic again to destroy the loner turret. This time it was a tad harder, because I couldn't lie down since I had to destroy it shooting through the windows, but it still worked. After that, I had one teammate hold position at the switch and use it. The rest of team rushed through the first room into the "restricted area"-room, and ducked behind the barrels. As soon as they were safe, I closed the doors again. I took a breather and then switched the lever again, rushing past the two active turrets into the lower room and once again hiding behind the crates so that the only active turret there couldn't shoot me (thank god the other turret was already destroyed!). On my way back I repeated the steps in reversed order up until the point my team was reunited. You will get 150 more XP points for talking to the chief, who will also give you the extra fusion battery (boy is barnaky happy then). It's worth the trouble to see the Wachutu chief laugh at you without knowing that the joke's on him - damn idiots haven't heard of RadAway (or Rad-X for that matter), eh... Wonder how many villagers he lost for learning that.
