Build a basic/common building,select it ,then ctrl+C and place the cursor where you want the same building and ctrl+V and you are done.

Forgot about the manual group thing,it's the best ,but you can get bugged sometimes.

Select a group of tiles then go to manual group and make a new group.And do the ctrl+c thing
