Ugly Pip-Boys

Does anyone else think that Pip-Boys are ugly, at least those from Fallout 3, Fallout: New Vegas and Fallout 4? They are too bulky and get in the way of armor sets. Also, the screen space is noticeably limited.
 
Well it's a wrist-mounted device, you aren't exactly going to get a huge amount of screen space. I personally believe the one from 4 is the best looking of the 3D games but I do prefer to use mods that make them handheld.
 
Well, the font size plays a role too. However, I would prefer an independent UI with larger screen estate for elements like the equipment and inventory management, separate from the Pip-Boy; alternatively, equipment and inventory simply independent.
