Does anyone know how to beat the mission with the Brotherhood scribe and his annoying computer virus?

This is a side-quest but I believe it is necessary to complete this one in order to receive the Power Armor (training).. or am I mistaken?

I just completed it on my 3rd attempt... I was going counter-clockwise, if it helps.

Thanks Deon, but it seems to be random? And was completing the mission indeed necessary to obtain the PA training?

Eh, I didn't obtain it, but it's a requirement for a side mission to replace the overseer.
