But best title ever!
inXile announced they're collaborating with geek clothing company J!NX to make a clothing/accessory line based on Wasteland 2. If you ever wanted to look like a leather thug, I guess this is your chance:<blockquote>InXile and J!NX to create clothing and accessories line based on Wasteland 2

Newport Beach, CA - September 25, 2012 - InXile Entertainment today announced an exclusive clothing and accessories line with the premier name in gaming and geek clothing. J!NX creates the clothing for the biggest franchises in the industry such as World of Warcraft, Minecraft, League of Legends and Portal 2.

Wasteland 2 is a highly anticipated Role-Playing Game that was recently fan funded via Kickststarter for approximately 3 million dollars.

"We are excited to be in such great company with the other games that J!NX represents and for the quality product they produce," said Brian Fargo. "Wasteland 2 has a distinct visual look that lends itself perfectly to apparel."

“As a long-time fan of Wasteland, and a day 1 backer on the Wasteland 2 Kickstarter, I couldn’t be more psyched to be working together with a legendary designer like Brian Fargo and his crew at InXile," said Sean Gailey, Co-founder and CCO of J!NX.

Why don't they just focus on the game and forget the merchandising cheese.

How much time (realitstically) is going to be taken away from game development because of this? J!NX are the ones who are designing the clothes, correct? What time will be spent on this from the Wasteland 2 crew?

These are kickstarter backer rewards, I think, so some obligation to deliver them concurrently with the game development

Not just Kickstarter rewards, I remember Brian Fargo saying they'd have a way for people to buy Wasteland 2 merchandise.

Well, why not. If it gives them additional money. I personally won't buy there though, as everything looks quite expensive.

If I have the cash I will be buying a shirt for sure. I support their right to merchandising. :ok:

Expensive..yes...quality of clothes..we shall see.

If anyone DOES buy any of their (JINX) clothes, I'd like for someone to post a pic with the tag (collar) exposed as to see where it's manufactured.

Merchandising means extra capital, for one, which can be put toward current and future projects. For another, on what planet does merchandising take time away from the people doing development on the game? Mr. Fargo might have to exchange a few emails with J!NX, but that's about it.

Yeah, it's not like the programmers will be working in a sweatshop until their hands fall off. I own a couple of Jinx shirts and they're generally pretty decent quality.

Duh. That's what children in 3rd world countries are for. 8-)

Yeah, only good if someone buys crap of inxile instead of WOW-shit. Might turn out there is some decent folks doing shoppin nowadays, y never know.

Ah that reminds me of the awesome Fallout: New Vegas T-Shirt Bethesda sent for me before the release of the game. It went to the then IGN headquarters (now the building of the new MySpace) for shipping, but someone stole it, as another one for a guy that worked with me. Yep. Oh well...

The Brian Fargo video on that site is brilliant.

Don't care much for gama paraphernalia, but as someone in this thread already pointed out: regard it as extra funding.

"There was a Fallout one and two?"

That scene is fucking classic. I always laugh when I watch it.
