What's this, then?

I get it.
BN and SuA again went all Metal Gear Solid and shit on bethesda's ass and they've got Van Buren source code.
Good job gentlemen.
:shampain:
OMFG! It's champagne dude!!! Champagne! Learn to rite!

:EDIT:
Fallout is bethesda's bitch. They hold the rights, they have the source code, not IPLY. Sorry to disappoint you people, I'm an insider and nope, there's no source code coming for you this mouth... *hint?*

Maybe BN and SuA both "fall out" of the closet? :boy: (oh, the pun, it .. it's, it's horrible!)

Or perhaps we all get a novelty wax PIP-boy by air-mail.

EDIT: Seeing as I don't think Beth "owns" FO1, they might be making it abandonware? Would make sense.

Some of you guys really need to read up before speculating.

Jeesh, is it this hard to figure out? I thought the hint was pretty self-explanatory.

Well, that clears that up... *ponders*

I guess the most obvious would be an MMO announcment. But that just sounds too good to be remotely true.

BTW, thanks for the link BN.

Maybe anything happens at the same time: NMA releases NMA: The Musical, the Source Code for Fallout 1 and 2, the Van Buren's Sourcecode is released and the MMO is announced.

It's not sourcecode then. At least not as a whole:

The Fallout sound infrastructure is part of a deal to use the Miles sound system of RAD Game Tools, Inc. (RAD). Interplay is allowed to use the Miles sound system but not allowed to redistribute any of the code. Sadly, the sound code is embedded into the sourcecode, which makes it impossible to legally release the Fallout RPGs sourcecode (without a separate deal with RAD).

And about the sourcecode of Van Buren:

Pete Hines, Bethesda [On the chance of releasing any material from Van Buren]: ...releasing someone else's unfinished product, or assets from it, is not something we intend to do. [30-04-2007

It's in front of me, but I'm blind. Can anyone else see? God! Someone, pinch me :?
