Fallout is bethesda's bitch. They hold the rights, they have the source code, not IPLY. Sorry to disappoint you people, I'm an insider and nope, there's no source code coming for you this mouth... *hint?*

I guess the most obvious would be an MMO announcment. But that just sounds too good to be remotely true.

Maybe anything happens at the same time: NMA releases NMA: The Musical, the Source Code for Fallout 1 and 2, the Van Buren's Sourcecode is released and the MMO is announced.
 
It's not sourcecode then. At least not as a whole:

The Fallout sound infrastructure is part of a deal to use the Miles sound system of RAD Game Tools, Inc. (RAD). Interplay is allowed to use the Miles sound system but not allowed to redistribute any of the code. Sadly, the sound code is embedded into the sourcecode, which makes it impossible to legally release the Fallout RPGs sourcecode (without a separate deal with RAD).
