whats your favorite weapon in fallout 2?

i love the Bozar because it mows down guys like hell. whats ur favorite?
 
The Bozar is a sweet weopon, but come on...are we forgetting the Gauss rifle. This ass woopen rifle is for me the best gun on the game. Its got grate range and causes loads of damage plus you dont need a lot of AP's to shoot it. I think in one of my many go's at FO2, i was able to clip off 3 or 4 rounds a turn with this baby. Thats hell for any living thing in its sights.
Oh well for me there is no sub for this gun:)

Yes, but the problem with the Bozar is that you have to steal them off the guards at the NCR if you want them early enough.
Gauss Rifle is nice, but comes late in the game.

I like the H&K p90c. An awesome little submachine gun, leaves a lot of bullets, its quick and you can't beat it for close in work.

The Light Support Weapon kicks ass too. But against Aliens, I like the G11E.
 
Hmm bozar is nice, and so is gauss rifle and modified plasma rifle, but i like those alternative weapons, like in F1 was that one-of-the-kind pistol, it did use .223 rifle bullets?
and that gauss pistol is also a fun, heh and when u get your stats up and that kewl power armor its nice to torture those lame mobsters and raiders when they have no change to survive.

It was, and you could get 3-4 copies, by stealing from the shelves behind the midget in the NCR bazaar. I love that place. 4 shelves, with a good steal skill you're set. In fact, in FO2, a good steal skill meant you were set for life. Stealing money back from shopkeepers in San Fran, stealing from jetwhores in New Reno, etc.....

Well, with the Bozar, fast shot, 10 aps from a couple of action boys, and bonus ranged attacks, I could fire 2 bursts a round and then reload....

I usually prefer the Gauss pistol to the Gauss rifle.... Usually used it as a backup weapon, or a weapon for city use, when I didn't want to use all my .223...... With the same perks, I could fire 5 shots a round......... 5 SHOTS A ROUND! With slayer, that's lethal.
 
Jesus that is lethal...five shots a round, my god in heaven, i thaught three shots a round was nasty but five thats evil..Evil i say.
For the .223 guns...is that the only place you could get them from, I dont remember ever having one and if that is the only place you can get them from then that is why, i never tryed stealing form that guy.
Stealing the money back from the shop keepers in San Fran did rule didnt it... when i figured taht i could do this i was set with every thing i needed for the rest of the game :)

Oh, stealing from the bazaar midget in NCR is great. He's got armor, quite a bit of ammo, sometimes he has a Red Ryder LE, it's a great place to steal.

Also, stealing from the NCR guards also works really well, they seem to be really stupid.
 
Hmm i didnt steal that much, but those super stimpacks are way to expensive to buy. u can get a lot of stuff with out stealing or killing ppl, i did atleast.

hmm i was wondering did u guys use those combat armors to get those combat implants in vault city sub urban area, where is that auto-medic unit, when i use it it did lower my charisma stats, but when i loaded save and tryit again it didnt lower stats, is that some kind of bug or just luck roll??
 
Me? Of course The Bozar. I also complement that with .223 Pistol because they use same ammo (.223) So all i can do is only carry 1000 round of .223 ammo. Some guys love Red Rider LE BB Gun (Okay! It's BiG Fat Mama!!!) but i never like it. It is ridicilous people wearing Power Armor, riding the Car with a RObo companion carrying a BB gun!! I'm a Man!!! eventought it got lotsa damage and the bullet were cheap!

Hmmm, somewhat i think there were lot of new guy here? Lot of guy i never knew before?
 
I just have to say as a hardcore Fallout fan. (I have mademan gangster trait from Fallout 2 decaled onto the back of my car) Any hardcore fan of Fallout 2 will say the bozar, it's just simply the best, and it doesn't get any better than that.
 
I think the Y2KB Pulse rifle kicks serious ass! I love the way they fry!:)
 
Melee-wise, I'd have to say definitely the Super Sledge. I couldn't pay as much justice with it as Sulik but, boy, was it a treat seeing your opponents fly across a few hexes on a critical hit. My favorite ranged weapon was the sniper rifle because it had the best range, abundantly found ammo, and I acquired it relatively easily by looting it off a ganster's corpse (compared to the arm-wrenching, teeth-grinding horror of purchasing it for 19000 caps from the Hub merchant in FO1).

you can get the .223 pistol can be gotten in many random encounters...but ive never had to many of them...My favorite weapon is the gauss rifle, and the gattling laser is cool too...

The Shadow rise And will Submerge The earth, and create it into his own image....
 
ha ha ha some interesting choices made on this page i see but me personaly i think that the .223 pistol will always be the best its a shame that they got rid of the nice noise it made when fired in fallout 1 and i hope they bring that back but other than the .223 pistol i think that P90 was great because you could get it early on and it would kill any and everything.
 
I dont even know why but i most have played this game with my eyes closed because i never even found the .223, it was my favourite weopon in fallout 1 but i couldnt find it in number 2.

Really? Its in so many shops, and some of the random encounters net a few. Actually i never bought one and had about 5-6 before i finished.
