when do those red NEW! things disappear?

ohh! I get ya! once you've read the page just go up above (where the login and other things are) and click the little "Mark" button (looks like a clock) all the "new" will disapear:)
 
I don't think that question applies to Fallout: Tactics game help, but i really don't care. i'm just saying cuz i've seen rosh, shadowman and miro chew out ppl for posting in wrong forums :-)
